1. APPOINTMENTS

All visitors to the Embassy are required to schedule an appointment in advance through the email address singapura@mne.pt or phone number +65 6224 2256 during the following office hours:

 Mondays to Fridays

mornings: from 10am to 1pm

afternoons: from 2pm to 4pm

Walk-in visitors without an appointment will be refused entry to the Embassy.

 

2. VISA INFORMATION

Please note:

The Embassy of Portugal in Singapore does not issue visas at this moment.

1. If you wish to apply for a Schengen visa for Portugal (eg.: short stay for tourism), please contact the Embassy of Germany in Singapore, who will process the application on our behalf. More information at this link.

2. If you wish to apply for a Residence visa for Portugal (eg.: for study or work purposes), please contact the Embassy of Portugal in Bangkok. Contact details are available here.

The Embassy of Portugal in Singapore has no agreements with private companies or agencies for visa processing.

 

3. LEGALISATION

Any documents issued by the Singaporean authorities for use in Portugal must already be certified by the Singaporean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, before being presented at the Embassy of Portugal for legalisation.

 

4. TRANSLATIONS

This Embassy does not offer translation services, but we can provide a list of translators duly recognized by the Embassy. Please note that we are not responsible for the content or accuracy of the translations, but merely recognise the signature of the translator. 5. CONSULAR SERVICES

For any questions about civil registry ou notary sevices at this Embassy, please use the email address available in the Contacts section.

Presently, consular fees can only be paid in cash or trough cheque from a Singapore bank, and only in Singapore dollars.
